Wireframing on Sketch: Emov App
Moving forward with my prework exercises for Ironhack UX/UI bootcamp, today I practiced wireframing.
The assignment was to wireframe 7 screens of Emov app, herebelow.
Here is what I came up with;
I found challenging to to filter which detail is essential for wireframing and which ones are okay to omit. I think for example, I lost some time to look for some icons, for which I suppose I could have just used a cross mark. (ie. car and the plug icon on the 4th screen). I wonder if the same would happen if I were to do a wireframe from scratch. Maybe then these details would not be so obvious and I could skip them easily.
Throughout the exercise I learned that wireframing is a good start for both the designer and the client to visualize the work that was realized so far. It might seem a bit dull and time consuming but this step would help the actual UI design part (with all the colors, typography and the fun part) more effortless.
